Research has shown that the early learning of an additional or foreign language can help to strengthen literacy skills in children. There is evidence that the cognitive pattern in the brain of a bilingual person is different from that of people who only speak one language; and bilinguals are usually better at multitasking. Bilingual children are also found to have better writing, reading, math, memory, problem-solving skills, and tend to score higher on standardized tests.
In view of this, we believe that it is advantageous to expose children to additional languages from when they are younger. To this end we have partnered with Kidslingo, a multi-award-winning, CAA gold accredited, kids’ language franchise to provide fun language classes for our toddlers and pre-schoolers. We learn fun French or Spanish every other week.
We are New Beginnings, a privately owned Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ Nursery situated inside the grounds of Park Spring Primary School in Bramley. We take the time to know you and your family well, thereby creating strong family partnerships with you.
