| We feel that the greatest challenges facing parents are compounded when their child moves to full-time education. The working hours do not coincide with the school day, and school holidays are the biggest challenge of all! children enjoy being with their friends and getting to know other children and they thrive in their company. Parents look for a safe place where the needs of their child/ren can be met. We understand this, and in response we aim to offer a range of services for children between the ages of 5 and 11 years. Between these ages, children are more discerning and demand an increasingly active and engaging environment. |

| We will open during term time and serve breakfast as a buffet-style allowing children a healthy choice of cereal, toast and fruit before being taken to school by supervised escort. There will be a range of appropriate indoor and outdoor activities to ease children gently into the day. |

| A full range of activities is available for example, table-football, board games, arts & crafts, as well as access to outdoor space and play. For added interest we will eventually hold themed activities and special events these will be scheduled regularly. Support will also be provided for children wishing to complete their homework during this time. Healthy snacks and drinks are provided for the children. |

| Operating during school holidays, activities will focus on giving children the opportunity of participating in a variety of exciting programmes. Examples will include: creative workshops, games, sports, ceramics, drama, dance, art, cookery, music and cultural themed weeks to name but a few….. to maximise choice, a range of other activities will be available at all times such as table-football, board games, arts & crafts, dance mat, karaoke and outdoor games. |
